Nobody is Perfect

The East Village is filled with an exuberant energy and makes for a great adventure area. It’s trendy and modern and has some great quality food spots. One of these spots includes Mario Carta’s, Nobody Is Perfect. This Italian restaurant joins Carta’s 2 other successful businesses: the Moroccan eatery, ChouChou and the French eatery, Pardon My French. Carta, recently opened this new restaurant in the Lower East Side. “I think it’s an authentic part of New York, with a very good vibe,” Carta said. The great vibes in the East Village are just getting stronger with this new Italian addition.

One of the restaurants signature dishes is the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. This dish comes with imported pancetta and organic eggs. What really tops this selection off and makes it so special, is the fact that they stir it in a wheel of pecorino romano cheese right at the side of your table. It really makes for some cheesy goodness! Carta’s latest establishment also has its own wood burning oven, which is what makes pizza another one of their signature dishes. They carry 18 different types of pizza, so you have plenty to choose from. Along with a tasty meal, you could also enjoy one of the wines from their large wine collection. Every one of their bottles is just $29.

Not only are the food and drinks captivating, but the decor does a great job with catching the eye. The walls are brick filled with the color almost faded and makes for a wonderful rustic scheme. “Our furniture and all our ways are not perfect either,” he said.  “We try to be humble. By the name we mean like ‘Forgive us, we are not perfect, we just try to be.’”
